Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act

On November 30, 2011, the House of Representative introduced bill H.R. 3523 (112th), Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA). Among other purposes, the bill favored the sharing of certain cyber threat intelligence and cyber threat information between the intelligence community and cybersecurity entities. This bill was passed by the House on April 26, 2012 but was never passed by the Senate.

On February 13, 2013, the House of Representatives introduced bill H.R. 624 (113th), which had the same content of H.R. 3523 (112th). Also this bill was passed by the House on April 18, 2013 but was never passed by the Senate.
